Seaching Schools In Los Angeles

Everyone is always asking me about the different schools in LA. I found a great tool on LAUSD and it will let you know what schools each specific property has access to.  Keep in mind the property has to be in LA. Area such as Santa Monica, Culver City, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood & Malibu are their own city and have their own school district.

Once I locate the school that the property has access to I go on to http://www.greatschools.org/ and I look up the school information, ratings, test scores etc.

It is important to make sure the school has open enrollment. I have heard of some schools being full. For example there is a new elementary school in Play Vista that is rated really high and its brand new. Unfortunately there is a waiting list for the school.
